Something that is far enough in the future but you still have an emotional connection to it.

How did I know that?
Because I’ve been there.

Start with lighting.
Bright light can be great when you’re working (I work from home all the time), but it’s not ideal when you’re trying to clear your head. You need something more soothing—like dim, soft, and warm lighting.
Think about it like an ambiance in a massage spa.
If you’re not a fan of changing your light, just turn off the light and use aromatic candles instead. Sit in your zen corner and breathe. Let the scent of air fill your lungs while you are mindful of your surroundings.
Next, think about sound.
Add a Bluetooth speaker or a white noise machine to play calming music, nature sounds, or even a playlist of your favorite tunes. Set YouTube or Spotify playlist will be helpful.
Besides white noise, you can also play positive affirmations to help you heal your broken heart. You can search for positive affirmation videos on YouTube in one search, but what works best is using your voice.
Choose three to five affirmations that speak the best for you right now, record your voice saying it, and play it when you sit in your cozy corner. For me, I play this affirmation all night while I sleep.
